Revenge, "Attack.Blood.Revenge"
Attack.Blood.Revenge, the first air-raid assault from Conqueror’s James Read originally released by Dark Horizon in 2001 still holds true as an uber-chaotic battering of panzer strength war metal. Utterly structure-less, but wholly enveloping in the sheer intensity it exudes, the four short tracks here are pure hate-filled noise. While not as heavy as future works, the nonstop battery spilled forth more than makes up for the demo quality found here. Nonstop blasting, buried guitars, frenzied soloing, and the absolute larynx-shredding vocals surmount quickly into a monolithic machine-gunnery of unholy sludge. Not for those who have not a slight taste for metals of this extremity (Luger, Vociferan, Black Witchery) Revenge is going to be little more than nonsense, but to be able to sit down, pick it apart, and let what Attack.Blood.Revenge is capable of doing, you have quite the beast to bang to.
