Searing Meadow, "Once Adored"

Searing Meadow have picked up where Amorphis left off at Tales from the Thousand Lakes. They manage to recreate that sound quite convincingly, although Searing Meadow sounds a lot happier than Amorphis ever did. They write some great songs though, and the major key riffing in the first two tracks actually sounds really cool. The vocals are solid and sound almost identical to Tomi's unique roar. The only thing holding them back is that they sound exactly like another band. Once they get over that though, they're home free.
