Power metal, even when filtered through or combined with other genres (in this case, old school heavy metal) won’t succeed unless there’s something in the composition and/or playing that elevates it up the slopes of Power Metal Mountain. Sweden’s Haterush have a bit of that certain something, but unfortunately its spread pretty thin across these thirteen tracks.
